Robert M. Smith represents small business owners and individuals involved in complex business disputes, legal malpractice lawsuits, securities claims, real estate matters and marriage dissolutions. He advises businesses on contract, lease, employment and general business issues. He has more than 30 years experience in jury and court trials, appeals, and arbitrations, practicing in both state and federal court. Mr. Smith is a trained mediator and arbitrator. He is known for his solid business judgment, aggressive advocacy, practical advice, and responsive service to his clients. He is a 1977 honors graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School.
